Casa G sits high on Gringo Hill, designed by local architect Oliver De La Cueva with interiors by Alejandra Galván. It is a house built around light and air rather than corridors: glass walls that slide away, an open atrium that pulls the morning sun through the middle of the villa, and a saltwater pool the whole group ends up around by four in the afternoon.
Three bedrooms. Three ensuite bathrooms. Nobody negotiates for a shower.

Every bedroom has its own ensuite bathroom and its own patio or balcony. That configuration is why most groups book here: two couples traveling together each get a door that closes, and the kids get their own room and their own bathroom.
Five minutes above town, and a good deal quieter
- Five-minute walk down into Sayulita — the taco stands, the coffee, the plaza on a Friday night.
- Under ten minutes to the beach and the surf breaks.
- Far enough up the hill that what wakes you is birds, not the town.
Is Casa G right for your group?
The house is open-plan, with an open staircase and level changes throughout. It is a wonderful house for adults and for kids around eight and up, and it is not the right house for toddlers. We would rather tell you that here than have you discover it on arrival.
Book direct and the 15% stays in your pocket
The nightly rate for Casa G is the same wherever you find it. What changes is the service fee the booking platforms add at checkout — usually around 15% of your total. Book on this page and that fee simply isn't there.
It is not a discount on the villa, and it is not a lesser version of the same stay. It is a fee you were never getting anything for.
What else changes when you book direct
- You deal with your host, not a help centre. Questions about the house, the drive from Puerto Vallarta, or whether the layout suits your group get answered by someone who actually knows the answer.
- Things can be arranged. A private chef for a night, a massage at the villa, yoga on the rooftop, an early check-in when the calendar allows — all far easier with no platform in between.
- Same house, same calendar, same standards. The only thing missing is the middleman.

Sayulita, from the front door
A surf town of roughly 3,500 people on the Nayarit coast, 45 minutes north of the Puerto Vallarta airport. Cobblestone streets, independent shops rather than resort chains, taco stands that outclass most restaurants, and a beach that drew surfers here long before anyone called it a destination.
From Casa G it is five minutes down the hill into the middle of it — and five minutes back up when you have had enough of it.

SUSTAINABILITY
The villa is powered by a rooftop solar system that powers the majority of the energy needs of the house. There are several large rainwater storage tanks under the yard to provide water for plants and grass. The pool is a saltwater pool to reduce the need for chemicals.
We strive to source most resources locally to support the local economy and reduce our carbon footprint.
